چکیده
Green space is an important component in urban environment, providing considerable ecosystem services to our socio-economic-cultural activities. Metrics designed capture green provision, supply and demand, measuring availability, accessibility, visibility have been widely adopted gauge progress toward achieving sustainable development goals from local regional scales. In this article, we offer eight reflections on quantitative studies of for mapping, monitoring, modeling, management (4M) practices landscape design planning. The article’s objective stimulate fresh innovative thinking the conversion data interventions. Eight points are made: 1) mapping should be characterized a multi-attribute conceptual model, including quantity, quality, type, structure; 2) sources, methods, uses vary by definitions, approaches, scales; 3) phenology modifies seasonal quality quantity space; 4) spatial temporal cubes will help realize goal near real-time monitoring change; 5) coverage reveals supply, but exposure can effective demand via modeling supply–demand relationships human–green 6) measures account spatial, temporal, social differences; 7) greening optimization architects planners consider both biophysical, biodiversity, health benefits; 8) strategized with long-term view. Finally, advocate data–science–decision support systems that guide promote 4M space. These reflection broad implications research, practice, theory design, planning, management, altogether constitute set principles scientists, policy makers, practitioners strategizing optimal

An approach towards effective ecological planning: Quantitative analysis of urban green space characteristics
In the best practices, planning of urban green spaces is managed in such a way that it follows the key principles such as meeting per capita standards and providing accessible and balanced distribution of these spaces all across the city. In the context of emerging economy, these principles are unfortunately not followed strictly all times. In this study, it is attempted to investigate Tabriz c...
متن کاملUrban environmental management: monitoring, GIS, and modeling
Urban environmental management must integrate the spatial, structural features of a city, typically captured in GIS, and the dynamics of environmental quality indicators that can be obtained by monitoring. To provide decision relevant information supporting planning and management, these components are integrated in models for scenario analysis and optimisation tasks. The paper describes some r...

Urban green space and stress
This research is part of the Scottish Government’s GreenHealth project. It asks if there is a link between green space and stress in deprived urban communities. Overall, it finds evidence that more urban green space is favourably associated with lower levels of selfreported stress and reduced physiological stress, as indicated by diurnal salivary cortisol patterns in a sample of middle-aged men...
